 Rittman EMS Offers American Heart Association® CPR Classes.  We Try to Offer at Least One Class Per Quarter. • Public Access AED Program

  An Additional Way to Prevent Death From Sudden Cardiac Arrest, is the Use of Automatic External Defribulators (AED's).  Rittman EMS Serves as the Liaison to Business and Governmental Entities Who Wish to House AED's at Their Locations.  These Life-Saving Devices Require Minimal Training to Use, But  DO Require a Physicians Authorization to Possess.  Rittman EMS Would be Happy to Assist You With This Process.

• Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspections

  According to One CDC Study, Nearly 72% of Car Seats are Installed Incorrectly or are Misused. The Use of Age Appropriate--and Size Appropriate--Car and Booster Seats Can Greatly Reduce Serious and Fatal Injuries by More Than Half.

  What if You Have an Emergency and Cannot Speak?...

  Rittman EMS Has Adopted the Fill-The-Pill Program to Provide Emergency Responders With the Necessary Information "to Save a Life..."

  Fill-The-Pill Utilizes a Magnetic Pouch to Hold Your Emergency Medical Information Sheet.  This Pouch is Then Stored on Your Refrigerator Door for Access by Our Emergency Responders.
